My love for Pilates developed while practicing mat Pilates in 2005 and I was quickly addicted. I found myself taking fusion yoga, PiYo, & Pilates classes. Before I knew it, I was on the reformer, tower and chair loving every minute of it! In 2012, when my husband and I were living outside of Phoenix, AZ, the opportunity to train with world renowned 2nd generation instructor Katrina Foe presented itself through Balanced Body. Since then I have dedicated over 700 hours to learning the art of Pilates originally created by Joseph Pilates. In 2014, I became a certified PMA instructor and I continued my journey by becoming a Balanced Body Barre instructor, which fuses basic Pilates principles with Barre (Ballet and dance moves). I love the style and pace of these classes, which are taught with upbeat music. In 2016, I became pregnant with twin girls which gave me a new perspective on how amazing Pilates can be for relief and breathing. In January 2017 my two beauties made their debut into this world. I am currently loving being a mom and more passionate about getting back to teaching and having my girls be apart of this adventure as they grow.
